The RewirEd Summit will take place from December 12th, 2021 to December 14th, 2021 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre. Please register for a free ticket to the Summit by following the link on our homepage. Our team will review your application and get back to you within a maximum of one week. Once we have confirmed your attendance, you will be responsible for handling your accommodation as well as your travel to, from, and within Dubai.

Your attendance is not confirmed upon registration. Our team will review your application and get back to you within a maximum of a week but will aim to do this as soon as possible.
Registration will close on Monday, 6 December 2021. Please register your attendance before this date to avoid disappointment. Please note that registration is required to attend the RewirEd Summit. Entrance to the Dubai Exhibition Centre will not be granted if you do not have your registration confirmation on arrival.
Yes, although tickets will be valid for all three days of the Summit, you may attend whichever sessions you choose. Given that we aim to bring in new actors and facilitate collaboration between unlikely allies, we encourage you to explore sessions outside of your interests.

The RewirEd Summit is hosted at the North Hall of Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), located on the EXPO 2020 Dubai site. The nearest entrance to the DEC is from the Metro station or DEC parking. Once you clear the Pedestrian Screening Area (PSA), follow signs to DEC North.

Expo2020 Metro stop is located in front of Dubai Exhibition Centre. We encourage everyone to take metro on their daily commute to Expo, to avoid traffic and waiting time for a shuttle bus.
The Dubai Metro Red Line from Dubai International Airport connects to Route 2020 line at Nakheel Harbour and Tower Station, which takes you to Expo 2020 Dubai. Metro stations have tactile paving to facilitate access for visually-impaired people. All stations on the Red and Green lines have wheelchair access either via step free routes or lifts.

As you exit the Metro and clear screening, please follow signs to DEC North for the Summit
There will be 580 Expo Rider buses operated by the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) free of charge for Expo 2020 visitors. These buses have low floors and are capable of lowering to provide ramped access. Aisle widths enable a wheelchair to move down the bus and there are spaces for two wheelchairs.
Bus stop announcements are made both visually and audibly in Arabic and English.
Dubai’s taxis are easily identified by their cream body colour and the colour of the roof signifies which company operates them. Taxis can be booked by phone. Alternatively, there are also two mobile apps you can use to book: Careem and Uber.
Ask the taxi driver to drop you off at the Dubai Exhibition Centre next to the EXPO 2020 metro. From the taxi drop off it is a few minutes walk to the screen area before DEC.
When leaving Expo by taxi, there will be a starting flat fee of AED 20 for rides originating from the Expo site.
For those wishing to hire an accessible private car and driver or public Demand Responsive Transit (DRT), also known as Dial-a-Ride-transit (DART), Inclusion Services LLC provides accessible vehicles for Abu Dhabi, Dubai and all of the UAE with pre-booking.
If you are planning to drive your own car, please plan additional 30 minutes in your journey, for walking commute.
We recommend to park at the DEC parking. The DEC Parking is complimentary and provided based on first come first serve. It operates 24/7. Shuttle buses from that parking to the DEC itself are available from 06:00 – 02:00AM. The shuttles go every 5 minutes and it will just take you 3 minutes to get to the DEC entrance. You can scan the QR code on the map below for driving direction to DEC Parking.
Your event badge will be ready for collection from Sunday, 12 December at the DEC North Concourse where we have our RewirEd Registration Desks. An email for your entry pass to Expo 2020 Dubai site will be sent to you on the 10 December 2021. You will need to show this electronic entry pass, along with your ID / passport and PCR or vaccination certificate for Expo security to grant you access to the site. After you clear the Pedestrian Screening Area (PSA), please make your way to DEC North Hall where the RewirEd Summit will be held. One week before the RewirEd Summit we will also be sending your general information for arrival and access to Expo 2020
As part of your registration, you will receive a 3 day Expo pass to visit over 200 country and organization pavilions at the Expo 2020 Dubai site during Knowledge & Learning Week. Your Expo Tickets can be collected at RewirEd Summit Registration Desk after you have collected your Event badge.
Absolutely, Yes! With Expo 2020 right at your doorstep from the DEC it would be a shame to not take advantage to visit after the Summit Sessions. Expo is open from 09:00 to 00:00 on Saturday to Wednesday, with last entry at 23:00, and 09:00 to 02:00 on Thursday and Friday, with last entry at 01:00. Yes, there are some items that will not get passed through the Pedestrian Screening Area such as drones, professional photography equipment, and weapons just to name a few. During the Summit Food and Beverage will be available throughout the day. The lunch menu provided by DEC has taken into consideration various dietary requirements.
Yes, there is a dedicated Wi-Fi for the RewirEd Summit. The username and login details will be mentioned on the back of your name badge.
The dress code for the Summit is Smart Casual or traditional attire.

We appreciate that traveling poses many challenges at this time. Because we believe that education is everybody’s business, we will publish video recordings of our sessions to be available on-demand.
Though our sessions will be published online, attending the Summit in person has many advantages. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to network with speakers and other attendees in our networking corners and cafes, and will be able to participate in interactive sessions, including workshops and hackathons. Additionally, all RewirEd attendees will receive a free three-day pass to visit over 200 country and organization pavilions at the Expo 2020 Dubai site during Knowledge & Learning Week.

You do not need to take a PCR test if you can show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
If you do not have a vaccination certificate, then a negative PCR test taken in the last 72hours for adults 18 and above will need to be presented to enter Expo 2020 Dubai.
PCR requirements for travelling to the UAE is separate to the Expo 2020 entry guideline. If you are travelling into the UAE, please ensure you check with the airline on latest COVID-19 travel and testing requirements.

Yes, Although this the Summit is an in-person meeting, we recognize that it will not be possible for everyone to travel and attend the event in person.
We are pleased to confirm we will be able to offer virtual participation for the Summit. Almost all of the sessions – with the exception of workshops, training sessions and invitation only events – will be live-streamed and you will be able to engage in the session remotely.
In order to attend the Summit Sessions virtually, you must register and select the RewirEd Summit 2021 | Virtual Registration button. Once your registration is complete you will receive a confirmation email and information on how to attend virtually on the day.
Unfortunately no, the complimentary Expo 2020 tickets are for in person attendees arriving to DEC North only.
Once you have registered as a virtual participant you will receive an email with the link to the attendee hub. To log into the virtual platform, you will need to login with your email address you registered with.
You can sign up on the day to attend virtually. The benefits for registering beforehand is to view the agendas and start planning your session that you would like to view beforehand.
No, once you have registered to for the Summit virtually you can attend the session on the same login.
When you log into the attendee hub your profile will automatically be visible to start making connection. If you would like to change this setting, go to your profile picture and click on view profile. You will see the visibility setting on the top and you can amend this to ‘hidden’.
When you go to view the sessions available, there is an option to add the session to your attendee hub calendar.
No, it is not possible to download any of the sessions.
The link to join live streaming will be emailed to you. You do need to register as a virtual attendee to receive this email and access confirmation.
Yes, you can, as long as your profile is visible and they are visible too. When you log onto the attendee hub your profile will be visible by default.
